For those heading to the Cotton Bowl I would like to suggest parking at the CiCi's Pizza which is located directly across the street from the stadium. You can't get much closer to the Stadium. This is where I park for Cowboys games and have already reserved my spot for the Cotton Bowl as well. They allow tailgaiting which is only allowed in certain Stadium lots (only perimeter spaces) and very few, if any, of the cash lots. The price is $40 (what I paid last night) but will probably go up once they realize how well LSU fans travel. Oddly enough they charge $60 for NFL games.

I'm not affiliated with this lot in any manner; I just don't want it overrun with Aggies. Here's a link to their ad for this weekend Cowboys/Eagles game. LINK

Regardless of where you park, you better have a spot reserved somewhere. If not you can expect $80-100 in a cash lot REALLY far away.

I know for a fact that a lot of Aggies know about that lot and have bought passes there as well. There were quite a few over there for the Arky/A&M game.

I also have been told that the KA Fraternity from both schools are doing a joint tailgate in the CiCis lot.

My son and I went to a concert at the stadium last summer. We parked at the Colters BBQ parking lot for about 20 bucks.

They don't do that any longer?

I'm really just hoping I'm not the only car with LSU plates in the lot ;-). Anyway, glad to hear the KA's from both schools will be doing a joint tailgate in there. It really is a good lot for tailgaiting with the large grass area behind it.

Agreed, it's a good lot to set up a tailgate.

They probably do, but that's a LONG walk to the stadium as opposed to being directly across the street from it.

Will they be poppin' testicles in addition to the beer pong and flipcup games, or is that just an A&M KA thing?

It's only $40 for the Cotton Bowl (at least it was last night when I reserved my spot....$60 is for NFL games). Yes, I've been given the option of 1 buffet or 1 pizza in the past. It's nice having a real restroom instead of a port-o-potty as well.

Park around lot 13 for 30 bucks. Close close to the stadium and they will drive you to the stadium and pick you up.

We paid $60 for parking for Saints/Dallas. Every business offers parking. It will not be hard to find parking. 92,000 attended that game and we drove in and drove out with no problems.

You can also park at Lincoln Square shopping Mall if you spend $40 total at stores and restaurants in the mall. It's probably a 10-15 minute walk to the stadium or you can take their shuttle for an additional $10 per person.

Thats where we parked, and it wasn't a bad walk at all. Once we got to the truck, the traffic wasn't bad either.

They had a guy in the parking lot collecting $20 for parking without shopping. That's where I plan on parking.
