I saw a sign in the Cici's lot showing $100 to park there for the Saints/Dallas game. They couldn't fit another car in there either.

That's the way the parking lots work. If you call a week or more in advance you could've gotten in that lot for $60. They know there will be plenty of fools who didn't take the 5 minutes it takes to pre-book a parking spot somewhere.

Again, the CiCi's lot is only $40 for the Cotton Bowl if you reserve a spot now. It's probably going to be pretty damn cold on Jan 7 and I like knowing my walk will be nice and short.

Hey for that $60 at CiCi's, they throw in a pizza too.

It's only $40 for the Cotton Bowl (at least it was last night when I reserved my spot....$60 is for NFL games). Yes, I've been given the option of 1 buffet or 1 pizza in the past. It's nice having a real restroom instead of a port-o-potty as well.

We parked at the Colters BBQ parking lot for about 20 bucks.

They don't do that any longer?

They probably do, but that's a LONG walk to the stadium as opposed to being directly across the street from it.

There were quite a few over there for the Arky/A&M game.

I'm really just hoping I'm not the only car with LSU plates in the lot ;-). Anyway, glad to hear the KA's from both schools will be doing a joint tailgate in there. It really is a good lot for tailgaiting with the large grass area behind it.
For those heading to the Cotton Bowl I would like to suggest parking at the CiCi's Pizza which is located directly across the street from the stadium. You can't get much closer to the Stadium. This is where I park for Cowboys games and have already reserved my spot for the Cotton Bowl as well. They allow tailgaiting which is only allowed in certain Stadium lots (only perimeter spaces) and very few, if any, of the cash lots. The price is $40 (what I paid last night) but will probably go up once they realize how well LSU fans travel. Oddly enough they charge $60 for NFL games.

I'm not affiliated with this lot in any manner; I just don't want it overrun with Aggies. Here's a link to their ad for this weekend Cowboys/Eagles game. LINK

Regardless of where you park, you better have a spot reserved somewhere. If not you can expect $80-100 in a cash lot REALLY far away.
