Does any know where is the best place to stay in Dallas for the game or where most of the LSU fans will be staying?

The group we have going is age 30-55. We have rooms booked at the Hilton Anatole but it looks like it is far from the stadium.

there is a Gaylord resort across the street from the GWL in Grapevine. I'm podunk when it comes to city driving and i was never overwhelmed going through Dallas and surprised how quickly you could get from A to B.

Think I heard the team was staying at the Anatole. It's a good hotel. Without traffic, 25-30 min. to Arlingon (about 20 mi). Leave at 4pm or so on Fri to beat I-30 rush hour traffic.

You could stay in Arlington but staying in Dallas or FW would be more fun. Anatole is a good option.

My house. You can have my bed for $400.

I'll even wash the sheets. You have to sleep with my dog though. He's old and has gas issues.

The Gaylord Texan is a nice resort and not too far away. 15 minutes. It has a great club (Glass Cactus) and badass sports bar.

I know that is where the 12th Man Foundation is putting people up.

Uptown Dallas will be filled with LSU folks that weekend.

I might have to take all of my vacation for the year after that weekend to recoop.

Nothing wrong with Dallas, but as someone suggested, check downtown Fort Worth hotels--much closer to Arlington than Dallas.

Hotels include chains (Hilton, Sheraton, Mariott, Omni) and local (Worthington among others).

Downtown FW is a great & safe environment for visitors--lots of police & private security patrols on the streets + plenty of eating places & watering holes.

Umm, this is Jerryworld's asphalt lots, not the Parade Grounds, badger boy. Just sayin what not to do (ie. leave late) cause it ain't a breeze drive on Friday afternoon.
