Is this right? Would have thought the Tigers would be favored by at least 3.

According to Vegas Insider the opening line went from LSU favored by a 2 to A&M favored by 1. Over/under 49 to 50 points

Miles needs to be selling that to his team all December...

I have a feeling that aTm is going to get skull fricked.

We are due to blow out a team. Aggies seem like they would be the perfect victim.

Tigers destroy a&m and then we laugh at them bitching on the way out of the stadium

A&M looked pretty good the last month of the regular season.
LSU was up and down.

The game is in Texas and A&M bought up all the RV permits before LSU even knew which game they would be in.

seems like a pick em, to me, too.

It's because all the betting money on it so far went to LSU, so they swung it down 3 points to make it a gamble.

Don't read too much into that.

Also, the reason LSU favored by only 2 is because of how close the games have been all season. This reads into your standard 3 points for any other team.

It should be a close game, like all the other games we've played this year against decent competition. 27-24 Tigers.

$ drives the line. Lsu will win by a touchdown. No reason for me to believe we can blow out anybody who is moderately good.

From the for what it is worth department Arkansas was a 6 point favorite when they took on the Aggies back in Oct and won the game by 7.

Tigers 32-10

we'll run away with it in the 2nd half.

The Aggies are better than some of you guys give them credit for. Their defense is very good and their offense is more consistent than yours.

I would say you have a better opportunistic defense (being overly aggressive does hurt you though, badly at times) than they do and they have a bit more "big play" factor in their offense than you do.

You guys should win, but don't take it as a given.

It's scary how good the conventional wisdom is most of the time.

That being said, bowl games are notoriously unpredictable. There's an awful lot of time between the last game and the bowl game.

Also, a large part of the line is based on people's memories of the last games played. People remember LSU's loss to Ark and A+M's win over UT more prominently.

I think the Ags get the Tigers in a close one.

Offense - Aggies

Defense - LSU slightly (up and down the last few weeks and TAMU has come on pretty good at defense)

Special Teams- LSU

I just think aTm has too much fire power. LSU has not faired well against those teams (Auburn and Arkansas)

If LSU started as a favorite, and all the money went on LSU early on, wouldn't they increase the line in LSU's favor to make it more likely people would start betting on Texas A&M?

I tend to lean towards what Miles has done on turf in past games with a month to prepare.

LSU 38
aTm 17
