Not a candidate for the Vandy job and unlikely to be heading to Texas to be Mack Brown OC.

Unfortunately, he'll be at AU another year.

If Gus Malzahn gets agood offer someplace else he will be gone. Does anyone think that he will want to be at Aub when the storm hits them?

He scored 50 on a NC team w/o Newton.

ETA: The above is incorrect.

Fortunately, Cam Newton and Nick Fairley won't be, so it won't matter.

No Cam = 6-6 Auburn.

Unfortunately, they had Cam.

They have 24 seniors + Cam. Next year won't be too pretty.

Pretty sure Tulsa had the No. 1 offense in the country that year.

If the Gus Bus leaves for another assistant's position, it pretty much solidifies that AU is going to get put on probation.

I think he will take a head coach position.

Unfortunately? Why?

Cam Newton made more of a difference than Gus Malzahn. In 2009, Gus got it handed to him by LSU's defense. He'll have less talent to work with next year. Four OLinemen leaving as well as Cam Newton.

I don't see the need to worry.

Honestly, I think his stock only goes down from here. In coaching, strike while the iron is hot. Hell, look at how Muschamp's star is fading just after one year...

I could see Stanford taking a shot on another hot OC if Harbough goes to UM.
