so you don't think we will be better next year? i'm telling you, mallet isn't the only qb petrino has in the stable. i guess you didn't watch him come off the bench cold and light up auburn. it's all about a scheme and an accurate passer...and we have them both

the backup QB looked good. BUT, what happens when you lose 3/5 veteran olinemen? That line is the reason for your season........they will be missed. Oh, and our's returns.

I hope that you are satisfied with your team's performance this year. It is not even likely to be matched, let alone improved in future years.
We've won atleast 10 games 6 times in the last 10 years, but you're correct it's highly unlikely to happen again soon

yes, the 65 from auburn was embarrassing, however i would like to have gone back to the 2 td's on turnovers that weren't and play the ball from there. i think there could have possibly been a different outcome....in the bama game we weren't sure of ourselves yet..it was early in the season, our running game hadn't caught up with us and didn't know how to handle the big stage...and our defense has stepped up....we handed you the game last week with to's and special teams in 2nd half and you still couldn't take it

Excuses are for teams that suck. I think we all realize that in our losses, we were outplayed that day.

to listen to lsu fans one would think that they are the greatest team to ever take the football field and the thought of a 10-2 season is just plain unacceptable and the whole coaching staff should be fired.

Probably less than 10% fit into this category.

i hate to be a buzz kill here but here are the facts. lsu has not been relevant in college football (except 58) prior to 2003.

Wrong. You are one ignorant hick.

you wallowed in mediocrity just like another 100 or so teams did.

An Arkansas fan telling ANYONE else they are mediocre??? Please.

quote:

saban done a great job in 2003 but other than that you have been a very solid football team but hardly as great as you think you are.

The Arkansas fan base is probably the most ignorant of college football history, and out of touch with modern football awareness as any other in the nation. You people have no idea what your place is in the pecking order.

Being the best is measured yearly. And in 2003 and 2007 we were the best team in college football. How the frick you can sit here and say we were above average in 2003 and 2007 is beyond frickstickery. We have more crystals than Auburn, Alabama, USC, Texas, and Oklahoma (and as I recall, one of our crystal balls came at the expense of OU).

And if you want to talk about conference dominance, you left off a few peices of hardware in that category, too. You see we won 3 SEC championships this decade. That means we were the best team in the SEC in 2001, 2003, and 2007. What has Arkansas won in the last 10 years. Nothing.

In fact since joining this great conference, Arkansas has won the same amount of SEC Championships as South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky...zero. What a crowd. So easy (and typical) for someone from the SEC D-list to come here and talk shite about our status in the college football landscape.

Arkansas us a fourth rate program that doesn't even belong in the same breath as the big boys. you do realize that Washington has more national titles than you guys? and a lot more recently. enjoy 10 wins. the sun shines on a dog's arse every know and then.

Florida's team of the 1990's:
1990 9-2
1991 10-2
1992 9-4
1993 11-2
1994 10-2-1
1995 12-1
1996 12-1 mnc
1997 10-2
1998 10-2
1999 9-4
Few more wins, better sec record, 1 less MNC- I'd take LSU 2000's vs florida's 1990's
and yes, the florida fans had very high expectations after that decade.
