It's pretty obvious that as Leach believes.. Tech just didn't want to pay him the competitive price he was worth. James wanted Leach out too due to personal reasons and it escalated from there.
Leach made some mistakes.. but his biggest one was messing with someone with a national audience. He's right in attempting to sue ESPN for slander IMO. I doubt he'll win but they did unfairly tarnish his reputation in a major way.

You can't deny Leach committed negligence and overstepped scope of authority. For that reason it was an automatic dismissal. The one I'm trying to figure out is if ATC was fired also, as should have been. Back to Leach though, nobody has come to his defense inside the program to this date, including graduated Seniors from last year. To me, that is very telling.
