Brinkman Electric Smoker

$80 at Academy.

Cooks at a constant 250 degrees. I have one and so does my dad, works great.

I had the Bradley given to me as a gift. Pretty nice smoker, but I still prefer traditional pit style smokers...

I've had this one for three years now and it works great! the only modification i did was to install a thermometer in the top.

Hmmm, that Brinkman gas smoker looks like a good option.

What does the thermometer usually read? I'm wondering, because there is no way to control the heat.

I just bought one of the Masterbuilts. I am going to smoke my first turkey on Friday. Make sure you follow the instructions and season it first.

I also have the Brinkman electic. Super easy to use and have done everything from ribs to turkey on it. Would definately recommend.

Went to Academy today and bought the Brinkman for $69.99. Just got it put together and am in the process of seasoning it.

I don't like that it doesn't have a thermometer, but for the price it's hard to beat. Like someone mentioned I can add that later.

We'll see how it does this weekend!

Thanks for the responses

~ 200 - 250. you can in fact make the temp go higher depending on how much water and wood chunks you put on the burners. plus, its a good rule of thumb to make sure that $35 piece of meat you put on there is cooking at the proper temp.
