He says if Auburn wins, the capital one bowl will take South Carolina. LSU to the Outback.

No way Cap One takes a 9-4 South Carolina.
The Outback loves East teams and will take them.
I bet Charles Hanagriff is going to give Gordy Rush the business for thinking the Outback will take LSU.

I think Outback gets first dibs at an east whereas Cotton gets first dibs on a team from the SEC West.

Outback and Cotton are on same level, no idea how they'd work that out with Outback/Cotton fighting over Bama/LSU. Usually Outback has first pick of East team, Cotton first pick of West team (right of refusal actually).
Logically (location), it seems Bama to Outback and LSU to Cotton is a fit.

LSU travels better to Dallas/FT Worth. Easier to get there if you don't already live in the DFW areas. Huge Tiger fan base in DFW and surrounding metroplex.

Cotton gets first pick of West teams after the Capital One Bowl selects its team. The Outback can take a West team if they prefer one over the next available East team.
