Apparently Mad Dog is out at UT, and everyone here in Austin is saying Moffitt is a done deal.

Has anyone heard else heard this?

I heard they were trying, didn't think they'd be able to pull him though.

Why would Moffit want to leave?

UT Boosters are head-hunting right now, and apparently conditioning has been a major issue this year.

the coolest thing i ever saw moffit do was at the celebration at tiger stadium after 2007

it was cold as balls and every LSU coach was in matching sweats....except moffit, who was sporting a leather jacket like a beast

DBG that is a ridiculous statement.

Moffit is the best S&C coach in the country. Cochran at Bama learned everything from Moffit implements there what Les won't let Moffit here. If he left it would be a BIG loss.

Scott Cochran, was a FIJI at LSU and started out under Moffit. would be interesting though maybe a tough pull from bama and Saban

My UT co-workers saying the same thing.

Nothing that hasn't been said in this thread - Looking for scapegoats.
O-line getting pushed around.
Looking at LSU for answers.

I'm surprised they are not looking at places like Wisconsin.

They have had physical OLs for a long time now.

i know. I asked if they watched Auburn and Arkansas push our lines around.

I'm not going into the moffitt discussion since he is more sacrosanct here than dandy don.

Because what he is letting him implement now is totally working.

More conditioning like the 4th quarter program is what Les cut back on
