The camera panned out over the crowd at the beginning of the 4th quarter as the sun had gone down and Tiger Stadium was still packed.

Are fans now staying for the whole game and not leaving in the 3rd quarter? If so, I credit the griping about it on the Rant for the change.

Really? Wow.

Well, other than that, I was impressed. You could hear the roar of Tiger Stadium again. It was nice.

I'm raising the bullshite flag on this one. I'm in the SEZ and didn't see anybody leave, unless you're counting the guy who fell down to the lower deck.

ok then let me rephrase that for you, I KNOW people in 423 left. But, it was better than most games. The guy next to me said he hadnt been to a game in ten years and looked at me and said he couldn't believe the people around us were leaving.

The jerkoff to my left and his wife, who looked like she was watching a funeral, left at halftime to "go sit in the RV and drink more beer".

I was directly behind the band in the NE, I thought the SE looked packed the whole game, can't say the same about the lower bowl on the E and W sides, but it didn't look bad at all. But anyway, I thought the crowd did great this weekend at TS. But being in the student section it is loud constantly.

I'll tell you what I sat in the north sec. 236. We had about 2 rows empty out before the game had ended.
First, a young couple brought a two year old who was being fussy and they left 5 minuntes into the game. Then the older couple in front of us were out at the end of the third. Last, About and entire row (family) got up and left with 3 minutes to go in the game. We were driving the ball to win at this point. I mean wtf!? You won't make it to your car by the time the game ends, so why leave? To save 30 extra minutes of traffic?

Fans stuck around because the game was in doubt until nearly the end.
