I'll paraphrase.

he said these seniors will make good husbands, good business leaders, good spouses. the have learned and know what it means/takes to work hard and do it with a smile on their face.

this really meant something to me. especially when he said they will work hard and do it with a smile on their face. it's obvious this is what he wants to teach these kids. we expect to work but make your work fun. i have to respect the guy for that. i would rather work for a guy, be coached by a guy, who expected effort but wants you have fun doing it because he is too.

I don't really see the point in people pointing out that MIles never lashes out against his players when they frick up.

If you saw him after the late hit call on Mathieu, I think he just knows the proper time to vent his frustrations, and when doing so will only keep a player form performing the way he should

He wasn't lashing out at Mathieu. That was a clean hit and a horrible call. He was telling Mathieu that he did nothing wrong and to keep playing just like the way he was

Actually, I could read his lips when he was talking to Mathieu. He was telling Mathieu that the call was BS and to keep playing the way he was playing.

This is more of what I was referring to. Sounds like I was unclear. He was calm and rational when talking to Matheiu. But if that official had stepped within 10 yards of Miles after that call....

Yep, watch a replay of it and see Miles' reaction to the replay on the jumbotron. He loses his shite with the sideline judge close to him

Winning convincingly makes your hard work put a smile on your face.

Like when playing JLee woulda let us win convincingly against UNC, WVU, Vandy, Miss St and Tennessee.

replay showed us all, the hit was in bounds.

the referee was hallucinating (a big bribe/paycheck).

The call was for leading with the crown of the helmet...not late hit out of bounds.

Still a shitty call

It wasn't a late hit...IT WAS RULED ILLEGAL HELMET CONTACT...get your facts straight...but I think Miles did handle the situation professionally,...unlike a certain Bama coach goin off on a player, and striking him as hard as he could,...even if it was on the arse....

The problem is this "helmet to helmet" rule is supposed to only enforced when the hit is on a defenseless player i.e. WR waiting for the ball or a QB. It is not supposed to be enforced when tackling a RB running down the sideline. It was a screwed up call regardless of how you look at it.
