Possible Targets with $9.7 Million Trade Exception

According to Adrian Wojnarowski we got a $9.7 million trade exception out of the deal. You can't package trade exceptions together or with a player meaning we can't use it to get Iggy or Melo, but I came up with a list of potential SFs and Bigs that have the right size contract and are on teams that might be in a dumping mood in February.

Can't you just swing 2 seperate trades? For example, trade the exception for Jeffries and then in a seperate trade throw in Jeffries to match salaries?

I'd have to look at the length of some of the contracts. Varejao would easily make us a true title contender, but Cleveland isn't giving him up for a TPE.

Just grab whoever fits position of biggest need for now and hold on to them until the deadline (and then package all the expirings together for a big name trade).

Yeah Varejao would make this team something special, by there is no way that would ever happen without giving up a major piece of our team.
Jackson would be cool if he could behave; however, he wants a nice extension too.

I really like Thabeet, he really is just a taller and younger Mbenga with more potential.

Thabeet is an elite shot blocker with great size. Would provide a great backup C option with his defense. No idea if Memphis has already given up on him or not
