this year...?

I mean, the guy won two games and helped in others...yet I dont see him ever getting a fair shake....we would def have 3 loses if it werent for him....yet he prob will never get the chance to become the full-time starter....either because of JJ or a transfer....

He doesn't always look that great, but then again neither has JJ.

I don't care who starts right now. I'm just tired of this two QB system. Miles seems to pull them when they are having a good game going. Hard for the offense to get consistent with the QB changing like GC's underwear.

Sure, barely any reps, going in for no ryhm or reason, hardly any series back to back. This makes for a great passing qb who needs to make "touch" throws. I guess Les feels his practice time is sufficient.

And we still count on this kid to make game winning throws. Gotta love it.

I'm not sure there's been enough discussion of this topic.

no not at all but the coaching staff obviously do not like some aspects of his game and believe jj is the best option I am done with doubting them on it as neither look particularly good..

I wonder if he would have improved taking more snaps at practice and in games this year as well. We will never know.

He is not the answer. I thought he got a fair shake during the Auburn game and he blew it.

The thing that irks me is that when he has the hot hand, like at the swamp, jj still gets every other possession. But when jj is looking good, like against bama, jl doesn't see the field.

Neither of qb's seem to be world beaters but I wish we'd play the hot hand no matter who has it. Also, it seems that the wr can balls from jl better than jj.

Lee played pretty well against Tenn and UF but has been average at best since then. It's clear why JJ plays more than Lee ... Lee just isn't that good. He's got a quick release and strong arm but if he's faced with any sort of pressure he wilts.

Neither are good QBs, but JJ's upside is greater than Lee's.

Yes. He has not played consistently enough to be the starter. If his first read is there, he looks like the second coning of Joe Montana. If his first read is not there, he looks like the second coming of Joe Palooka.

hard to play consistant when you play musical chairs... especially at this position.
IMO JL would have improved a helluva lot more with more pt.

BTW, you can drop the uga logo, game is over.

He hasn't looked good enough to make me bring up a topic about. JJ hasn't either. So running the 2 qb system is fine with me.

He gets to show his stuff in practice every day so yes he has gotten a fair opportunity.

It would have been nice to see him play an entire game.

He has gotten a fair enough chance. Like a previous poster said, he played well against UT and won the game for us against FL. Since then he has dropped off tremendously and JJ seems to even be throwing better than him. I think it all boils down to, if he is pressured, nothing good will come of it. Coaches just don't feel confident in him. JJ is not the answer either, but as it stands now, he is playing better.

look, i know this has been beaten to death, im not really wanting to discuss who should be starting...in my mind and many others it should be lee...Im just asking if you think he has gotten a fair deal...most believe Miles to be an honorable man, isnt it honorable to give lee a fair shake..?

I think that first year he started there was too much pressure on him to make difficult reads as a young qb. Always thought that Les should have run more to open up easier play action passes.

Of course after this year I really just can't argue with Les.
