Did he really just say that he puts Oregon at #1 and he doesn't care who they play?

He just doesn't see anyone else that could beat them in their remaining schedule.

Mentioned but focused on TCU and Boise. Says that there have to watch what there opponents W/L record means so much til the end. Funny that they don't use the same argument for LSU. They play shite teams.

None of the top 4 teams really play anybody. Just amazes me that they don't hold those teams to the same standard. SOS not a factor for them. Palmer mentioned "U of Hawaii as a tough opponent and they are at #31 "just outside" the top 25". And of course the mighty Nevada! WTF?

My bad. Was not meant to lump them in. CJ said that AU could lose to Bama and still be a consideration for NC game if they win SECCG? Reason was because Bama would be a quality loss or some BS. Didn't LSU have a quality win against them? I am just puzzled by the double standard is all.

all the push for Boise and TCU is nothing more than "sports reporters" wanting to wreck the BCS system...

not saying i like the BCS..they just have an agenda..

and they DO NOT want another SEC team to win the NC...

True, but they were considering the fact that Bama would go on and win the SECCG which isn't the case for LSU. If Auburn doesn't lose out, it will be hard to make a case of LSU (11-1) vs Aub (12-1), unless the camgate comes into play.

The BCS was invented to get rid of media bias... and the media has done so good at portraying the bcs as a demon that no one realizes how much the media still controls the BCS. I wish some awareness could be drawn to the situation. Everyone hates the BCS... for all of it's flaws, but is it not the media who exploits these flaws with it's power to influence 2/3 of the bcs points? Why is anyone discussing how many ranked teams oregon has played, when the number of teams with winning records that they've played is only 2? Thats a far more stronger statistic imo. Someone should start a facebook group for the millions of fans accross the nation that disagree with the espn narratives... it's a shame cbs doesn't have more national influence...

First and foremost they need to do away with pre-season polls. They have way too much influence on the ranking of teams by the time the BCS rankings begin. For example, how long did a team like Texas stay in the top 25? We all now know that they are a very weak team. But if the coaches poll didn't start til say week 5 then Texas may not have even been in the top 25. LSU may have started much higher also.

Considering that ESPN's big story tomorrow (repeated until you either puke or flip over to 'The View') will be that a one win NFL team now has two wins, I really don't know why anyone watches ESPN with their sound on.
