Wait for an answer from coolpapaboze. That will be the correct one. He might not actually list three.

I doubt he gives one, he's never said anything good about a restaurant in lafayette.

That is not true. But, his knowledge and understanding of food and wine is pretty unquestionable. I don't understand why he retired to Lafayette instead of NO.

quote:Awww, that's not true, I've said a few good things. I'm probably not the best person to ask though as I don't go out to dinner much in Lafayette anymore. There are plenty of places that I think are okay, but when I go out to eat, I want more than that, which I think is consistent with what most people expect. I think Charlie G's is good, I've had lunch there four or five times in the last few months and it's been good every time. Riverside inn is good, Maeson Noodle house is good, and I like Pimon Thai. Lafayette's strength is plate lunch places and there are a bunch of those that are good. Country Cuisine, Lauras, T-Coon's are all solid spots for plate lunches.
I doubt he gives one, he's never said anything good about a restaurant in lafayette.
But if I had to pick the three best restaurants in town, it would probably be Ruth's Chris', Charlie G's and French Press.

papa - what was the name of the restaurant that used to be located by ULL in the Saint street area, and then moved to Jefferson Street? Is it still open?
