It wont happen. Just assume pull for Auburn so we don't get stuck in the Cotton Bowl or Capitol One Bowl. I want Boise in the Sugar Bowl.

Yeah! I sure don't. I totally forgot that Oklahoma made the 03 championship game without winning their conference

This was way back when the human polls were only 1/3 of the equation and "quality wins" was still a component. Then everyone got butthurt when USC didn't get to play and the overhauled the BCS so the pollsters get a much bigger say in who gets in.

If I'm correct TCU only has one game left, New Mexico, and I don't see them losing that one. At a minimum, TCU will be undefeated. It's possible that AU, Oregon and BSU could still lose. Even if that does happen and assuming LSU wins out, we're still going to be looking at a probable one loss Big 10 champ (Wisc, OSU or Mich. St) and a possible one loss Big 12 champ (Nebraska). There's no way the voters would put a LSU team that didn't even win it's division in the BCSNCG over other one loss conference champs.

You dont know that homie, thats pure speculation. It COULD happen. Im not saying likely but.......

auburn and oregon losing are more likely than 28-point favorite w. virginia losing in 2007. throw in us winning out and all of this happening is tough to see.

i'm interested in seeing what the pollsters will do if this occurs. boise vs. tcu? - ridiculous.

Theres still stuff in that equation that COULD play out differently. All the OP was saying was that there is a CHANCE, which there is.

No way does LSU get into the championship game without winning their division, let alone a SEC championship.

wasnt our '03 nat'l championship victory over an OU squad that didnt even win their conference?

Yes, and Nebraska made it in 2001 without even winning their own Division.
