tourist trap?

anyone eaten there?

some friends want to eat there Friday for a birthday party. Thoughts?

I know it's expensive. Ate breakfast there and it was very good.

Did you check out the reviews in the Dining Guide?

these cheapskates told me american sector and cochon were too expensive.

im gonna have to check out the menu and let them know.

i havent read the dining guide yet. but i will check it out

great crepes from petunias/st.louis crep shop in the old days.Never ate anything else.

Lester, it is the same price range as Cochon. You can go on their website and print a coupon for 10% off, I think.

cochon was booked until after 9pm. we were looking for something a little earlier.

I will check out the coupon though.

the Madison, MS location was excellent...they had a limo and would provide transportation for "free"....closed down now, though....


ETA: Sorry, I was thinking of Atlantica Seafood Grill....

Oceana's not expensive. Menu

There are other restaurants that I would choose, but when with others, I've had decent food there, especailly for French Quarter food later in the evening. The Smoked Duck Praline ($21.5) is perhaps my favorite dish in the Quarter between 11pm-1am when most decent food is unavailable.
