All the people that get on this board and talk about the coaches. I beta lot of you never even played footall and if you did you were probably some wing-t coullion that doesn't understand real football. Does Les Miles make Mistakes sure he does. So does a lot. I guess my issue is can any of you coach any better. Do you know how to six man protect a four weak blitz with a fire zone on the frontside. Do you know how to teach college level technique to players? Can you teach triangular passing reads to a qb. (yes most passing games are built on triangular stressing of zone coverages, but most of you don't even know what that means. Do you know what a progression read is versus an object read in the passing game. Can you teach an o-linemen the concepts and techniques of covered vs. uncovered in the zone running game? My point is let the coaches coach they know way more than you do!

So they are free from criticism from us because they know more about football? Should Dinardo or Hallman have been free of criticism as well?

No, but most can kick some a** on EA Sports NCAA Football, so that qualifies them as an expert.

Man, you need to get off Madden and stop trying to sound smart, cause you look really dumb.

THanks, Gary crowton!

Just because you played doesn't mean you know shite either. I'll give you this, most people on here don't know jack crap... but for some reason they "know" they do in their minds.
I played ball with a lot of dumb shits that don't know anything about anything, even football.

I understand that Jerry Stovall said basically the same thing at the Gridiron Luncheon last Friday. I agree with you, but you better duck, most of these guys stayed at the football Holiday Inn Express.

Not Madden Idiot. Real terms real football. Not this computterized crap that most of the college aged kids equate with real football. If you actually knew anything about football you would know that thoses are real terms. But the fact that most of you are coming on here and making these comments proves my point.

the flaw in your post is this. Sure these guys know more than us. A. because the've been around the game all thier lives and B. they get paid to learn and teach techniques.
The flaw is you're right, no one knows about that, and no one gets to see that. What they do see is poor player progression, poor play calling, poor use of talent, and poor game and clock management. These are all part of coaching and when you do a poor job at it, you're in line for criticism.
So save the "you never played football speech" these are the obvious things we see, and these are things that could be done better.

You need a hug man.
Get over yourself and your "football iq." The backbone of America is based on the people being able to voice their opinion, so I think a message board is an appropriate place to voice praise or ridicule.
I see your point, but your delivery dilluted its effect.

That won't stop the entire fan base (who are not mechanics) from trying to tell a mechanic who spends 90 hours a week working on this car what he's doing wrong.

If this didn't make the OPs point, I don't know what will. The fact that josh puts Miles on the same level as Dinardo and Hallman shows just how ignorant he is in the football world. Do coaches get blamed too much, sure. Do they get more credit than they deserve, yes they do. It comes with the job. But, people like josh clump everything into one big bowl. He is unable to judge on merit, just on how bad his feelings were hurt because the coach doesn't do everything he wants the coach to do. josh, great job on making the OPs point.

Agreed, I played collage ball, but don't know it all either. I absolutely hated the neigatigers, however persecution brings change. I mean if you are pumping sweat and tears for a program and 10,000 of your fans walk out and start booing you aren't a happy camper. It disturbs the sleep. I think we owe a lot of credit to ice water Les Miles. He weathered the troops back to a respectable power house through this storm. So keep them madden and ncaa geeks around incase we need to chase that lazy don't give a crap RP spirit outta here!
