Miles' Halftime Talk to Team according to Jordy

I wanted to see if I could get this story confirmed. It comes from someone who is friends with and lives down the street from Jordy Hurltberg, and who saw and spoke to Jordy on Sunday (yesterday). Jordy was in the locker room and said that during halftime in the locker room that Miles grabbed a chair and stood on it to speak to his team. Miles told his team that he had never done or asked this before......... but that he was specifically asking his (this) team to NOT play and win the game for Themselves, or for their Team, or even for the School......... BUT TO WIN THE GAME FOR HIM (Miles)!
The legitimacy of the story continues to after the game, whereby this is/was why Kelvin Shepard awarded the game ball to Miles. Upon being given the game ball by his team - Miles cried.
This story rings true, especially the second part of it, where Miles cried. Because in Miles post game comments/interview he was specifically asked by a reporter "what his response was" upon being given the game ball? Miles got a very strange and somber look on his face and replied: "I don't know". Everyone laughed at the way Miles instantly responded to the question with "I don't know". Miles then immediately followed the "I don't know" answer with something like............"and it does'nt matter or would'nt be appropriate for me to comment on what was said between me and my team". If you saw Miles post game interview it would all make sense.
Can anyone else confirm or deny anyting related to this story? I can tell you the story comes from a very reliable source who heard it directly from his very good friend, who is friends and lives in the same neighborhood as Jordy. I believe it - for Miles post game comments/expression right after being asked what his response was when Kelvin Shepard gave him the game ball backs the story up. You'd have to see the interview and Miles comments/expression to understand, but it all makes sense and fits.
Anybody else hear anything?

Does it matter what he said?
Whatever it was it worked..

Does it really matter what was said?

Whatever it was it apparently worked.

Not at all. I'd like it if true -- it would mean that this team is behind him 100%

Hester gave him the game ball after the 07 win also

As far as I'm concerned Miles can pull out a chair and yell "I like turtles" for 10 minutes if that works

man I thought this was going somewhere else at this point

Given that the team had shirts during the spring reading "beat Bama" with the "A" beaing an Alabama Script A I think shows that there definately is some personal emotions hanging on this game. I've never seen Mile's as fired up as he was after this Win than in ANY other wins he has. Maybe true.

I'm sold. anytime a neighbors friend of a reporter's friend is involved, its FACT.

I think that is a given.

if it's true, the rest of the SEC games need to be FOR LES.

I don't care what he said, or if he cried, or ate grass, or picked his nose. I'm glad LSU won. Lots of emotions go on in that locker room and on the field. Even in this current instant media world, We shouldn't expect to know everything that goes on.

Seriously?? Do you think Miles would really ask the team to win it for him?

Musick did you run out to 3rd base adn slide after the victory on Saturday?

I don't believe miles would ask his team to win for "him". i believe it would be the other way around. Not for him but for themselves.

Not quite as inspiring as "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" ... but it obviously worked.
