I hit a coke can with my 22 at about...10yards. That's all I got without a scope.

Coon near feeder at 400 yards but it took 8 shots.

You really have to lob a .308 at that range. The coon kept looking all around and then going back to eating. I could see the dirt blowing up in front of him 20 yards, 10 yards, 10 ft, ect.

and a pig with the SKS at about 80 yrds. with a single shot. HE was a big sum beach though.

15 yds with a .410 pump when I was 9 yrs old it was my first deer. Everything else I have killed has been with a scope.

Did your dad walk the deer out on a rope?

75 yards with lever action 30/30

The gun had a side mount scope, but it was cheap as hell and was fogged up, so I switched to open sites.

Seemed like it on that place. Deer were like ants. We were hunting in a ground blind as well

Shot a doe with a 20 gauge buckshot 35 yds away. Used all 3 shots. 1st two shots at 35 then ran the levee along side her. She went to cross the levee then put the drop shot on her from 10 yards

squirrel 2 ft up in a tree(shotgun) everything else has been shot with a scoped rifle or a bow

hell, I don't even have a very long rifle kill with a scope. longest was a coyote at 160 yards. I like em nice and close.

I have a 45-70 and put my lil bushnell scope on it. If ever I buy the .444, i may put the scope on the .444 and keep the 45-70 with open sights.

172 yards, Flintlock. LUCKIEST shot I have ever made biggest buck I have ever killed. I practice shooting flintlocks a lot and knew the gun could do it but didn't know if I could. Dropped him in his tracks.

I think he's talking Mel Gibson "The Patriot" type of gun. Some old fashioned shite that might blow up on you.

That or go click and not boom. Also has a crazy delay compared to modern inline black powder.
If true 172yds with a flintlock is bad arse
