No one thinks we have a prayer against Bama. What do you think?

Alabama has recorded the fewest sacks in the SEC (tied with Vandy) and given up either the most or second to the most. They are very beatable, especially if we can get some good qb play and play pressure defense.

We have a prayer, I just don't know if it will be answered the way we want it answered!

Hell yes LSU has a chance! If Surrier's cocks can defeat Satan's elephant boys, LSU can beat them, too.

We can win if, and only if, our defense stops the run.

They were better last year and we were worse. In '08 we had no D and both years it was very very close.

We can beat them. There's no reason to think we would lose this game.

considering we were beating them in the 4th qtr last year at their house when we were 112th in total offense and this year we are 101st in total offense and are playing at home...I think we have a chance.

If LSU defense returns
If Alabama kicks to Peterson
If Peterson does not get cramps
If LSU does not throw INTs
If LSU does not fumble
If LSU can force a turnover
If LSU can sack McElroy
IF the receivers do not drop the ball
If the QB's are accurate

then yes we have a great shot and would win

Let's put it this way, I'll take the Tigers to win at 3 to 1 odds.

LSU's coaching continues to get more bizarre amidst its Long Goodbye to sanity.

The Tennessee game wasn't the first time the boys in purple and gold faced 13 players because usually they are battling Miles and Crowton as well.

However, the find away.

This team knows they've played Bama tight the last two years and are just as physical. Last year they got pushed around in Tiuscaloosa and got jobbed by the officials.

They have to feel that this year, they have the better defense, home crowd, and the intangible that no matter how hard Little Nicky has preached against it, Bama is underestimating LSU because of the coaching mismatch.

All of that, plus a hungry, volatile crowd could allow the Tigers to overcome the obstacles on the sidelines and win

We gots a shot. We gots a puncher's chance. We could be a contenda. We can do it Bobby Boudreaux. (er, strike that last part).

Can't say I feel really good about this game. But yeah, we have a chance.

Close game -- can go either way... but I'm pulling for the Tigers to win this one.

I STILL say Alabama goes 9-3 this year with losses to USC (done), LSU (We'll see) and Auburn... .which would put AU in the SECCG.... so IF LSU does in fact beat Bama -- I'll be pulling like hell for them to beat Auburn if it means LSU goes to the SECCG.

Geaux Tigers.
