Have any opinion on LSU.
Anyone who believes that he is doing excellent in any other area, besides recruiting, is an idiot.
Nobody can justify the simple fact that he can not manage a clock, have his offense organized in a tight game in the closing moments and the many other basic fundamentals in coaching. I know you guys will try and justify it but it can't be done.

I think I'm doing a swell job on the special teams.

Wow, this thread is sooo original.
And FWIW, Miles pay is such a stupid topic to bring up. It was in his contract to be Top3 paid in the SEC if you win a national title, so LSU really had nothing to do with his current pay. It is what it is. He accomplished X and gets YZ. Every coach in America has the same kind of clause in their contract.

What about the improvements on defense, special teams, running game, o-line?

IMO, no one is worth 3.75 mil a year. For the sake of argument, who do you think is?

I don't believe he is worth that much, but where is your criticism of Lombardi and Ray Lomanica for that horrible contract he game him? No, all you can do is resort to namecalling because you are a buffoon.

Truth.
Les earned the money and he deserves it. I don't have a problem with the amount of money in the contract, but rather the rollover piece. LSU is boxed into a corner with Les and will have a hard time ridding themselves of him if the circumstances dictate.

Great, this board has become a discussion board about fans instead of sports.

Why as a fan should anyone give a damn about his salary. Stupid argument. I would hope LSU pays top dollar.

I hate all of these stupid threads worrying about what Coach Miles makes. Does he deserve what he is getting paid? Yes, because he met the incentive in his contract that said that he would make that much if he won a BCS championship. You can't deny him that.
Whether or not he is the right coach to lead LSU into the future is another question, but quit whining about his salary.
