First off, talking about a sophomore being a bust already is comical. Secondly, talking about a sophomore who completely changed positions midway through his freshman season and rarely saw the field thereafter is a joke.

It does not take a genius to realize a kid like that needs the ball in his hands in the backfield. When given the ball to rush he has a 6.7 yards per attempt average. Last time I looked; that was pretty good.

The argument was he cant play QB because his passing is not up to snuff. This just in, no one on this roster has the passing ability needed (JL is the closest we have). Give him a chance.

Until then, he is a 6.7 yard a carry 'bust'.

IDK but he probably wishes he would have never gone to LSU.

The dude is not Reggie Bush, but could be used that way. When JL is in for consecutive possessions, we open up the field and everyone plays well. Imagine if JL stayed in what the athletes we have could do. I'd take the 30 or so points we averaged when JL was a 3rd string Freshman. Shep will can, has, and will be a very good player for LSU

Bench JJ and everyone will be better, a lot better!

I'm sure WRs feel the same.

That's just stupid. The coaches are wasting him, but that's not his fault.

Redshirt Shepard in '11. Let him learn the QB position and turn him lose in '12-'13. Running the read option with Ford/Ware/Hilliard/Hill throwing to Randle/Wright/Williams/Boone.

And with Chip Kelly as coach by '12 we avg. 470yds/game!!!

No need to move him back now since we should be getting Mett. next year. I'd let him stay at wr where he has played the entire year. Let him continue to learn the position, and next year he should be a stud.

If anything let SW play QB..he had a nice throw.

It's hard to call a player a bust when he gets 3 touches a game. For him to be effective, he needs 8-12 touches per game and will probably break at least one for big play. Sure he has dropped a few passes, but Tolliver has too.

both shep and ware are great athletes that played qb in high school and thus had no experience or natural position for college.

this is a recipe for failure with crowton as oc. he does not have a clue as to how to effectively use either player. both of these guys should get more touches and less runs for both jj and ridley. you cannot sustain drives in the sec with a 3 or 4 yard back like ridley. he has played well but he has limits. we need more explosive players running the ball.

With the horrible play of JJ and JL, I dont understand why RS doesnt at least get a shot at QB. He cant be any worse.
