Is he a legit above-average SEC starting OT or does he need to be replaced next year?

I could see Chris Faulk taking over at RT is La'el Collins is ready to go at LT as a frosh.

I think Hurst has played very well. He can also play guard.

no he's good enough to be a solid starter for the rest of his college career

With Barksdale leaving, I really doubt the only returning starting tackle won't hold onto one of the two spots. Also Blackwell will come back giving LSU three returning starters at guard, I don't see too much room for him to move there.

I've liked Hurst since the day he committed. He's always wanted to play here and has worked hard. He's got the want to play well here.

Faulk blocked two guys on Ford's long TD run.

I think he'd be a good Guard. He is too big for OT. I think right now he is a average T.

This is no diss, but Faulk right now is probably better than Barksdale.

Bark is a very solid LT... but Faulk has sky is the limit potential.

PJ is also maybe the best center in the conference.

Line next year:

Faulk/Josh D./PJ/Blackwell/Hurst

That's a really stout group, with Washington, Collins, T-Bob as primary backups. We're loaded...
