Florida is the Worst road trip! Fans are the rudest. I've been 6 times and have been treated like shite. UF students are PUNKs!

This is not true of the "2010" recruits! Those trashy girls were hot IMO.

Did have one UF fan tell me..."F-k You" as I walked to the stadium. I politely told him..."Isn't it UF?"

Another fan was yelling at me as I stood in the portal while the National Anthem played. I politely told him, "Dude...it's the National Anthem."

A UF fan standing next to me said, "Good job...that was classy!"

All in all...the UF fans were nice, the girls were a smoke show, and it was a good time.

Athens was a fun trip great stadium. Kentucky FWIW has a better stadium than you would think and sold out. Never been and will never go to the Trailor park in Florida. MSU needs to teach the band more songs and get rid of the juke box. TT was fun but not much room to move when you get a Hot Dog at halftime. I would like to go to the Barn one day.

I went to Gainesville for the game in '96 and will never go back. The students were spitting at us from the balconies of the bars across the street after we got stomped on the field. Bama, Auburn, USC, UT, Ole Mrs., Starkvegas...all good trips. UF...never again.

Yeah, pretty good assessment. Except UF is a really nice campus. I guess I'm gonna have to go back for the "traditional" experience. The fans were fun. Just the right amount of smack talk. Even had drinks with a few at The Swamp after the game and no problems. They were saying "good game" and all. Oh well. And, yes, Auburn is a good time. 2nd on my list. But their fans were way worse than UF. They had more intelligent insults, too.

Worst trip for me too but I still go because I enjoy watching my tigers play.

In the past we've stayed in Gainesville and spent the whole weekend there. Now we just hang out in JAX and drive in a few hours before the game.

Worst I've heard is from Ole Miss.

Worst experience with visiting fans in BR too. In fact, they're the only fans I've gotten in a fight with. Had it coming too.

Haven't been back since 2006 when some punk taunted my 71 year old brother. I went because I support my Tigers but UF folks are rude asshats!

BTW I live In Jax so it's not a tough trip for me. But I will never go back. Flaming douchebags, the Gator nation!

Gainsville sucks. Def worse road trip. I will say that their stdium is ugly with all the blue and orange, but it is def one of the loudest. That's a tough place to win, and their fans in the stadium haven't turned into a bunch of pussies like ours.

Definitely not the worst road trip. Walked around the campus, hung out at the Swamp, and the Florida fans I met were decent.
And I beg to differ about the "pussies like ours" statement. They were booing their team from start to finish! I guess it comes with success. The stadium was loud only in the final minutes. I think Auburn is louder by a good margin.

This was our first trip to the swamp, and we had a great time. We pretty much hung out all day Saturday on University and on campus and went to several tailgates. I thought the fans were great, we had several UF fans come up to us and tell us that they hoped we were having a good time and that they were glad to have us there. Even had a few "Go Tigers" from some of the UF fans. A few of the students made some remarks but it was good natured and they usually offered up a smile and a hi-five afterwards. the only negative comments we had were from acouple of punks driving by that hollered out their windows. In general, I think as long as you act decently when you go to any away games you will get treated decently.

"Yet even with change who would want to come to LSU with a fanbase like ourselfs?"

"I have to say that the three years I was an LSU marshall I noticed that about our fans. As a whole I believe that the Florida fans are the worst but we are a close second. That being said though our gameday atmosphere is one of the best in the nation if not the best."

Above is my post from another topic. The second quote above is my response to the first quote. I'm just glad some people agree with me about the Florida fans.

with the exception of the weather, florida used to be a great road trip. the fans were very hospitable. now, i'm talking several decades ago. you could get great seats very easily but the sun would bake you. had to drink water and gatoraid as the intense sun and liquor was a bad combo. the players were dying down in the bowl. still, all in all, a great sec football trip. success and the money thing has destroyed that. they have adversely affected us too. our fans were much better fans back then too. the football's better nowadays, the the "good ole days" were a lot more fun. just sayin'

Florida is tough, but IF we go into Auburn and both of us are undefeated, the barners will be tougher. The Aubies cut LSU fans no slack whatsoever - even in a year when they KNOW they're going to get their asses handed to them. This time around, brothers, bring your best game faces cuz it's gonna be a game/tailgate to remember.

Gospel ...

I remember in '96 when we got into a huge fight with some Barners and my friend Romero pistol-whipped an Auburn biotch who deserved what he got ... We found out later that we had burned the Sports Center down at Auburn, and they blamed it on a tailgater BBQ, lol ...

My friend Romero made a molotov cocktail and threw it through an old glass window ... Never thought it caught fire until flames started rising over the stadium later that game ... we looked at one another

Damnest thing ... I hate playing at Auburn
