On the Timmy B Show today, there was a good bit of talk about Les Miles of course. Brando, in response to a pro-LSU caller, said that Miles' buyout is over $13 million.

Does anyone really know the real amount of the buyout should things really turn south in the remainder of the season?

If his buyout is anywhere near that amount, he will not be fired. With the economy ,LSU cutting education, etc, i think it would be a PR nightmare.

It's his annual salary x the four years left on his contract.

A WHOOPING $15M so all you haters can just SHUT IT!!

Also, the contract termination clause was changed. If LSU fires Miles without cause, the coach could be owed as much as $15 million, up from $10 million.

This is the last sentence at the very end of the article linked to ESPN dated December 6, 2007.

Now, I am not saying that still is true. I just find that last sentence interesting.

I don't know what will happen after the season, but the look on Michael Bonnettes face during the post game interview tells a different story.

The buyout is 11 million. That's also not including the cost of trying to attract a top flight coach to replace him.

The silver bullet is McCarthy and his recruiting violation under Miles' watch. Les' buyout will be negotiated down due to the conduct clause.

Tim Brando's obesity is underrated. He's really fat.

I'm not reading all the pages of this thread but for the people saying his buyout is his annual salary x 4 years

shouldn't the buyout be that amount at present value?
