BC, were you watching the game with Mrs. Miles and Mrs. Crowton?

I had a 7 year old sitting next to me screaming for Jefferson to spike the ball.

Jefferson trying to cover up his stupidity.

Of course he didn't call for the ball.

I've been at 97 florida and numerous other loud ones and being in the north endzone was loudest I've ever heard. It got louder and louder as the clock was winding down. It was chaos.

Watch the film. He called for the ball one to two counts before it was snapped. I doubt they had a play to run, but he did call for the snap.

He called for it and looked away for a split second.

That's all it took.

I think T-BO saw the clock ticking down and snapped the ball knowing anything is better than nothing.

T-Bob hiked the ball with like 3+ secs. remaining to a QB in the shotgun who hadn't called for it and wasn't expecting it.

It all worked out, so fine...but you can't have a guy in a lineman stance make that decision.

Thank you Tenn.
We drive all the way down the field, with no timeouts, get it to the 2 yard line with plenty time on the clock.... and we try to give the game away. They say, "No thanks. You can have it."

the initial clap is not a call for the ball

Then why do it at all?

It is part of their shot gun cadence.
They've been doing it all year.

NO. We should have had two timeouts, but we wasted them.

After a delay of game penalty, at the 30 yard line, to make it 4th and 14. Game managment blunder.

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...
The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Yes, he clapped his hands together. Looked to me like a call for the ball.

he always claps his hands about 5 seconds before the center snaps the ball...there was 4 seconds on the clock...

Fail...

Thank you T-BOB!!!!

Jefferson has absolutely no situational awareness...a vital part of the QB position...

Your joking right???
I think T Bob was the only person thinking at that point. I bet he was thinking "this game can end a lot of different ways, but it is NOT going to end with the ball in my hands."
I dont know what the clap Jefferson did before the snap was but if that isnt "calling for the ball" how does the qb call for it in thise situations? And if Jefferson didnt call for the ball he is a fricking moron.

T bob had to snap the ball because JJ was confused as usual. He knows about as much about clock management as Les Miles!
