i just watched the cst repeat.
you see hebert look at the clock and call for a hurry up at 5seconds. then you see him look up at the clock at one second and snap the ball not knowing where jj was.

he KNEW the tn had too many on defense. he was trying to catch them for a penaly.

HEBERT SAVED THE GAME.

bullshite.

he KNEW he only had one second left, that's why he snapped it. that snap had nothing to do with knowing they had too many guys on the field.

Which makes him throwing his helmet down and crying after the play all the more brilliant!! What an excellent acting job!

i don't doubt that he snapped it before time ran out, but if he knew Tennessee had too many on the field, why did he slam his helmet to the turf after the first ending?

And I've actually turned to the people I sit with during games and complained about LSU's center not snapping the ball whenever the D is offside. But, by damn, Hebert made up for all that with his snap yesterday.

Not sure about that. That said, I give him huge props for basically saying frick this, I'm snapping this shite. That ended up winning us the game.

One way to look at it, is that he saved us from a huge loss. Another way is maybe he just extended Miles time at LSU.

Look - T Bob is a hero, no two ways about it. He knew the game was over if the ball wasn't snapped, so he snapped it.

Did he know UT had too many players on the field? I seriously doubt it, but it isn't relevant either way. He did the only thing that mattered: he snapped the ball before the horn.

I honestly think that the more time passes, the more I'm starting to lose my mind just thinking about this crazy shite and trying to process it.

I have been one of T-Bob's biggest critics. I still don't think he's a very effective blocker, but I do give him credit for at least knowing the game clock was down to a second or two & snapping the ball when he did. I still think he helps the team more by being back-up center and not playing guard.

Dude, I know exactly how you feel. I'm Sitting here impressed that my team knew to snap the ball before the clock ran out. WTF.
