Lee can't run and Jefferson can't throw. How do you choose?

They will both be needed for every game. The q.b. controversy is solved. Miles will now play them both in every game that we have left on our schedule.

Why exactly do you need a running qb?

Run a power I, play action offense. Lee on the field. JJ on the bench.

That's why God invented running backs.

It's not like Lee is a statue and being able to throw is kinda important for a QB

Ridley et al can run. LSU must have a passing game. BTW, Jefferson is not the next coming of J. Holliway(sp?)...

We have PLENTY of runners. We need a passer who can go more than 3 of 10 or 10 of 22.

No need to chose, JL runs the offense & JJ comes in for "packages" dictated by field position, what the defense is giving, & an oppurtunity to give JL a chance to "see" the game to help him slow it down. And for kickers, put JL in & have JJ & Russell Shepherd in the backfield with him, talk about confusion-although we'd probably run the same handoff to Shep play that we do anytime he is in the backfield.

We don't need a QB to run. We have a high quality running back to do that. If we could just establish a passing game, then Ridley would be even more effective. And honestly before this game, Jefferson was averaging 2.7 yards a carry. So I wouldn't say he has been to effective on the ground except for that one big run. I say stick with Lee and he will open up the whole offense. If you want a running QB, put in Russell Shepard for a couple plays, but not Jefferson.

last time i checked, the QB's job was to the ball to playmakers via the throw... not to tuck and run as a first choice of attack...

sure there are plays that call for a run from a QB, but let's be honest, the main reason a QB is on the field is to throw the ball down the field....

that's how you choose... Lee, at this point, has proven that he is better at the vertical passing game than Jefferson...

This, Peyton Manning is arguably one of the best ever..and he can't run to save his life.

The only reason JJ should see the field again is if we need a designed running play and RS has been injured.

I say Lee gets most snaps, but rotate JJ in for plays here and there.

We already have running backs. We need a quarterback.

Since one of those skills is REQUIRED to be a QB, I think the choice is rather obvious.
