I've told you before that you've got a keen eye for detail... and it's artists like you, Freek, Catahoula, Saw, Hoodoo, and yes even you Nortizzle that compel me to try to do it up another notch.

Peterson really layered out with a beautiful edge on this one (pure dumb luck for my tired eyes)... Cape was more a challenge to find reference images and than to implement once I got down to it.

I love the contrast change on Peterson to make it feel more "super-heroic."

I wanted to force him into the foreground to create a false sense of dimension (kinda like a ViewMaster would). I tried him over a couple different stadium variations... was immediately obvious that night was better than day. I wanted the stadium full... was fortunate enough to find one shot at halftime (otherwise flying about would be inexcusable). The original background shot was kinda dull and desaturated - so I kicked up the saturation, brightness and contrast then lowered the opacity slightly and placed it over a black layer. I think that a major contributing factor to PP standing out was due to placing him over the tiny shapes of the fans in the stands.

I appreciate all the props y'all. I almost didn't post it because I have a feeling this one is going to end up all over the place but I didn't have the heart to slap a big-arse watermark across it. Keep yer eyes peeled for uncredited usage if ya don't mind.
