A good ~8.5 miles this morning. Now I'm frying two turkeys. Friends dad from Boston is in town and I told him that part of our thanks fot him letting us stay with him after the marathon would be to fry a turkey for him. Gotta keep my word, but Damn its a little warm for this.

Ill try to find something. When you're unhappy with yourself you don't take as many pics. ill see if I can find one. New phone doesn't help. I'll try to remember to look.

Thanks again, mouton

I'm about half way through.

He's written another one called Good Calories, Bad Calories, but this one is supposedly more accessible.

His major points:

Calories-in/Calories-out is in no way linked to weight loss

There is no linear connection between exercise and weight loss

He goes through the science (in a digestible way) of it all. More or less, people don't get overweight from "overeating." They get overweight from WHAT they eat.

He's a big proponent of cutting carbs, and having a rich protein diet. So lots of meats, skip starches and sugars.

Still finishing, but he's made a pretty compelling argument.
