Question for you experts...

Do y'all think that artificial sweeteners cause insulin spikes? I've read both sides of it and from what I've seen, there is not much data to back it up.

If no insulin spike occurs, what's the big downside of artificial sweeteners (diet pop, Chrystal lite)?

I avoid them, I've read too much about insulin spikes, causing you to feel hungry, etc

I drink lots of diet sodas still.. it never has had an effect on my weight loss. Doesn't make me hungry either. As with anything else, it's different for everyone.
