You are doing it wrong. Do a beer mile, 4 beers, one at the start and one at each quater. Light beers are not allowed. Its a efficient way to get drunk.

I can actually understand myths argument. How can someone possibly argue that exercise doesn't help you lose weight if you stick with it though?

I have never argued that. I argue the combo leads to faster burnout but I also say with most posts that each person needs to find what they can keep up til they reach their goal.
Just know in my case the combo always led to me burning out so this time I went diet only for the first 100 pounds. Been over 3 years since I started and Christmas marks the 3 year mark of 100 dropped.
when I was out of work, I did add bike rides into the mix but the last year I've been unable to regularly force myself to exercise after 11 hours at work.
I do need to get back to the stationary bike. Almost got on last night. Almost.

Had bugs fri and sat night, then my son wanted the Hibachi for his grad dinner, I felt lucky only going up 3 lbs. I do think my cardio sweat sessions every day this weekend helped, as well as no beer. Also juiced for lunch Sat, apple,carrot,celery,spinach and ginger, C'est bon!

The juice was great, I may just do juice only tomorrow since I'm off and may start doing juice for dinner for a while.
