Yea hes back, some freshman #8, six TDS yea 6. Thats probably the total jefferson will have passing all year. Why can't we get guys like this here. oh... I know... DO YOU ???

I noticed against Kentucky Meyer has changed his scheme a little. Interesting how offensive schemes can be changed..

I don't think it's the quality of our players as much as it's how their being coached and play calling. But I'm just preaching to the choir.

why did he start instead of Brantley? if its because Urban got tired of his QBs ineffectiveness and tried to make a change im gonna frickin kill someone.

Burton is a ATH postion player, he played TB, WR, and QB.
Plus, our defense basically made him look like a Heisman Candidate...LSU defense is much bigger then UK's and much quicker...Burton will not get away what he did to UK.

I love that when they interviewed Urban and asked him about this guy scoring more td's than Timmy, he didn't know what the hell to say. He's not happy about someone outdoing his boy.

He didn't start instead of Brantley. He got five of his TD on carries (he only had 40 yards rushing on five carries or so...so most of the carries must have been decently close to the end zone). He also had a few receiving yards and a TD receiving.
Impressive to have that many TDs no matter what...but it wasn't like he was getting gigantic gains or anything on the TDs. I think he had a 40+ yard completion on one attempt too...don't know if it was a trick play or what though.

Fl was 25 of 36 for 290 yds passing. Burton threw 1 pass for 42 yds. They are using him sort of like Tebow as a freshman.
