If he runs a 4.6 40 it could happen. But as stated above OLB please. Bruce Carter FTW

Saints won't draft a back that high, not with the $$ tied up in Reggie. We need to spend more on D front 7.

Ingram will not be there when we pick. He is an outstanding back. He will be a great pro back. He is an Emmitt Smith style runner. He will go very early.

I have been pulling hard for the Saints to draft (in 1st round) or trade for a LB during the last 3 drafts. Think if we had Clay Matthews, how much better our LB crew would be. Our LB's have certainly been exposed as a weakness. TE's are kicking our arse this year.

running backs and linebackers that should be around that area:

ryan williams - rb, vt (im not sold on ryan tho)
travis lewis - olb, ou
greg jones - olb, michigan st
bruce carter- olb, unc (maybe might be there)

that's all i can think of.. i think we will be better of going defensive end 1st round.. based on talent available.

Doesn't matter what kind of running back we have when you can't run block... When your running back is getting rocked two yards behind the line of scrimmage, it ain't his fault... This needs to improve

Don't waste a 1 or 2 on a RB, they get hurt. Use a 4-5 round and a FA. FAs have been good to us.

Ingram wont be available with the final pick in the first round, so its a moot point.

For a team with the supposedly best OG tandem in the league, we suck at running the ball.

Unless you're Barry Sanders, running back success is EXTREMELY dependent on line play.

haha i feel you on that. i just always love draft/prospect discussion. i think the team is fine. i was over the loss very quickly.

time to focus on carolina and get to 3-1.
