What happens if we are 8-0 heading into the bama game b/c our defense got us there? Are the naysayers still chirping? Are we changing our minds about not "spending another dime on this program"?

So long the offense is not losing the games we should win, does it really matter?

Come on people, we have beat 2 top 25 teams and 2 SEC teams. RELAX!

(FTR - i dont like miles or crowton either)

PP is the only reason we aren't 2-2 and unranked.

Miles has to know this, and be considering all options at this point

Well, in 2008 and 2009, with this same record, I said no.

Looking back, I was wrong.

If we are still undefeated against Bama, then the naysayers will probably quiet down some.

But you are a fricking moron for putting this argument up considering the same argument has been done for 3 years now: deflecting problems of the now with hypothecticals of the future.

You want to say if we are 8-0?

Tell me, what has LSU's record been against top teired SEC competition in the past couple of years

I'm not criticizing the TEAM, just the Coach behind the wheel of the offense.

Any impartial observer would declare the offense as moribund.
The same person would applaud the D and ST as one of the finest in NCAAF.

Some fans get caught up in their frustration over the O not being able to get over that hump and become a legitimate Title contender (not winner but at least contender)

Some enjoy the other parts of the game which were good - D and ST.

Both factions are neither completely right nor completely wrong.

Big man behind a keyboard. All i know is our "now" defense is alot better than it was last year, AND replace ULL and Washington with UNC and WVU and a better MSU team gives one more confidence in our ability to compete with teams down the road that beat us last year.

signed

moron

And if the defense doesn't stop other teams, and if and if and if.

Wrong question. Let me rephrase it for you: does a team with the worst offense in college football deserve so much criticism? Now answer the question.

If if's and but's were candy and nuts we all would have a merry christmas. LSU will NOT be 8-0 going into the Bama game PERIOD with the offense that has been on display the last 4 games. I don't care how good your defense is when you face teams that are as talented as you are across the board (which Florida and Auburn are) you will lose if you have zero offensive production.

LSU has been able to get by the last 4 games because they have been supremely more talented than the teams they have faced, but when you you have to go on the road to play Florida, Auburn, Arkansas and play the best team in college football you will get that arse kicked when you have no offense. If you think LSU can win a lot of games against equal to or better opponents with this crap offense you've seen each week then I want some of the drugs your smoking.

Florida is long before Bama.

If there is not better QB play IN THAT GAME, it will be a loss.

The offense would be losing the games without pp, special teams and the defense...What are they averaging on offense...10 points??

And if and what if and maybe and....and. Live for what is, not what could have been.
What is:
LSU is 4-0.
The rest is worth less than nothing.
