At some point the AD needs to call Miles out. When 30,000 people split at halftime, that's a lot of lost concession sales. I know its kids playing, but after awhile that no longer washes, because there is some awfully high priced, supposedly high powered coaches coaching them.

If Miles wants the boos to decrease, he needs to do a better job of coaching along with his staff. The problem is, I am not really sure he and them can.

He really doesn't get it. He really thinks the boos are for the players. Wow.

When the QB walks on the field and boos rain down, it somehow is a distinction for him that the fans "aren't booing me, they are only booing the coaches" versus the fans "are only booing the coaches for keeping me in the game"?

Those who boo our own team, players, or coaches are absolute idiots. They come on this site so that they can receive confirmation from other idiots that they are "justified" in embarrassing the rest of us in front of a national television audience by booing.

I believe you to be right or close to if not spot on.

Of course that was after starting with a OOC schedule which featured a 0-11 Washington team in 08 and a Non-BCS ULL team as opposed to this seasons OOC schedule featuring 2 ranked teams when we played them.

Seems a tad different quality of opponent this season, but I think I get your point.

We will have to see what 10 holds for us, huh.

Yeah your right, the head coach of LSU reads here just to find out your opinion. And you flicking him off just made a real big difference. Way to contribute to the thread.

Miles might want to keep in mind that those fans are paying his salary. While I am not crazy about the booing, if Miles is so upset about it, maybe he ought to start doing something constructive about it.

If Les Miles is truly concerned about his players in regards to getting boo'd, he could help them out a lot by not putting them in that position.

There were a lot of boos all game long after plays Jefferson made. You knew it was growing each time. But he left Jefferson in there - visibly shaken, obviously unable to dig deep and fight back, and he got worse and the boos got louder. THEN, Lee comes in to a chorus of cheers with his teammates waving their arms and obviously showing excitement at the crowd's support.... Then he puts Jefferson BACK into the game. To more boos.

That's not smart. That's not helping your players. The fans are going to boo (I didn't, I only boo'd the Indian mounds Nazis when they were putting out signs), no matter what you say in interviews, we have some drunk, fickle fans who are going to boo. So Les can either keep putting himself and his team in a position to get boo'd and shut up about it, or he can make some adjustments.

I can't believe he's calling out fans like that and embarrassing them in front of the media. Some of the fans that he's talking about are students at LSU!

18 year old kids!

I hate when coaches use their players to protect their own jobs -- jobs they usually have because of those same players.

so you are totally happy with our offensive production to this point?? and if not, how do you voice your displeasure at the game...

sit there and mutter to yourself how stupid it is? or sit on your crossed fingers and pray to god something different will happen, even though they are doing the exact same thing??

i'm not trying to bash anyone, but i'm just curious as to what the "non-booers" do to outlet their frustrations vs. the "booers"...

Agreed, just saying we must look at process as well as results.

This team is better than last year's team in all aspects except one. And that one could cost us multiple games.
