WVU's Opinion On LSU's Defense

It also has what might be 5 first round draft picks!!!!!!!
We beat those defenses--
We CAN beat this defense!
If we just focus and play smart!!!!!!!

When we pick them off twice, have 3 sacks, and hold them under 300 yards they will shut up.

I know that's not fun for you to read, but you do realize that person does not represent the opinion of all WVU fans, right?

LSU fans claim the same stuff here before we play Vandy, before we played UNC this year even before their defense was depleted.

Every team has fans that say things that make zero sense and they just spout it off as fact. Truth about the LSU defense is.
D-Line... Physical and Fast. 3rd and longs will be a nightmare for any team, but are very vulnerable to screen passes..
LBs- Very solid in the middle. Wouldn't trade Kelvin for any other MLB. Decent on the outside. Somewhat unproven, but very talented.
Safeties- Alot of super talented young guys rotating in with Taylor being our veteran. Great against the run and very solid against the pass.
CBs- Super talented. Will only get better as the year goes on. PP would be any teams #1 while Mo and Tyrann would get playing time anywhere in the country. Strength of the team in my opinion.
Overall this defense is very dangerous. Great against the run. Good against the pass. Can get to the QB and has superior athletes at basically every position. The fact that our DEs, OLB's and CB's are all very young with the exception of Adams and PP means we will only get better as the year goes on. We still will have growing pains here and there but the depth of this defense is crazy good(except at LB).

I know what "locker room material" is. But it's usually something that really hits home and gets you fired up. That's why I'm dumbfounded. You're really going to validate that moron's opinion by posting his brain-sap on the locker room??? If your team needs THAT to get fired up, they need help.

Good post. The scheme will go a long way in determining how well WVU performs in this game. If it is the same defense that we saw vs MSU and Vandy, it could be a long night for WVU. But, who knows..
