I've NEVER heard "win with defense , boys" - oh , yeah - that was Niki Satan that said that.. oh , well , he sucks too ...

Why didn't you throw in more points....Oh, the offense was to busy kicking field goals on a short field. But I have to give it to them they did more with a short field this week than against a second rate UNC defense.

Points fricking suck.

I say we start booing next time we kick more than 2 field goals. We REALLY need to reign in all of this "not scoring a TD every time we get the ball" shite.

or we could just run the field goal team out there as soon as we get in Jaspers range no matter what down it is. Gotta make sure we get that field goal right?

LSU's stats were low because the average starting position was MID-FIELD!

When you get 5 turnovers, that tends to happen.

I don't think this team is ready to face Bama, Florida, or any other quality opponent, but they are improving week to week.

There was nothing impressive about this win. Other than the LSU defense.

Special teams ?

5 of 5 FG's including a 51 yarder that might have been good from 60

a few kickoffs deep into the end zone

No long kick returns allowed

Our only punt downed on the 3 yard line

Our kick return team the had them kicking away and out of bounds..

I don't think you can ask for a better special teams performance.

4. Miss State played alot closer to LSU than many people are giving the credit for.

Did you watch or just box score it?

MSU was NEVER in the game. Not even after they drove to score to be down by 5. It was evident early and often that they wouldn't be able to piece together anything resembling enough offense to move up the field more than once.

We completely dominated that team. Just like we did Vandy last week.

2 of those interceptions came as the result of completely stupid decisions by the Miss State QB, like throwing to a player covered by 4 LSU defenders when he could have ran a yard for the first down

So, those interceptions were really just complete luck, and had nothing to do with DB positioning or skill. The PP int that he tipped to himself was really just some strange cosmic event instead of a nice play?

No, they didn't. Did you watch the game? I was actually shocked that the yardage numbers and top was was in Miss State's favor when I got back to the game. We didn't punt the ball until the 4th quarter and didn't have a 3 and out all game. Our offense had issues in the red zone but they responded perfectly to the only time that MSU was in the game with a TD right after they scored their first and only score.
