After watching two far inferior squads take Saban's last two teams to the wire I can definetly see LSU winning this year at home. This team is a lot more physical than the last two, especially on the defensive line. I think as long as JJ is put into a position where he can just manage the game tonight I think LSU will beat Bama and win the west. Defensively LSU is top 5-10 in the country and has the special teams to make a difference in close games.

Hope you're right. Bama's a tough team to beat.

You're not alone...the D as a whole had one bad series; otherwise, I'm pleased with what I've seen.

We have all the pieces to beat them. It'll be a great game.

I don't. They have 3 stud rbs, a smart qb, and a d that will not let us score .

Bama could have killed us the past two years but we've been able to hang with them so it's certainly possible.

Right

say it's a tight game in the 4th, your D and special teams are much better and much more likely to make a play to get over the hump compared to previous years.

and by that point in the season, our D will be ranked better than theirs

so?

How long can you hold down Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, and Trent Richardson

I think we hang for three quarters but I have no reason to believe Jefferson or any of our running back will be able to move the ball against Bama
