What if, in the vast hierarchy of priorities, it is more important to develop your starting QB?
JJ is a junior who is being treated like a freshman. It leads to boring football for the fans (who pay the bills), frustrated star atheletes on offense, and low output on offense that may not cut it against top competition.

You have first and goal at the 10 yard line, and you run Ridley three straight times, and settle for a FG. I am sure that did wonders for his development...

What scares JJ more - the actual drops/INTs or the reaction from Fans (and media)?

Did they play it safe because even if the drops wouldn't bother him - the aftermath of it - repercussions from the already intolerant Fans/Media would totally screw up his mind ?

frustrating for sure. i think miles is more influenced by the NC game where we did not score on two critical 2nd half trips to the red zone and nearly cost us the game. he wants to insure that we get something. after we get a decent lead, we open it up a little. the play calling seems to be to do only what they have to to win the game.
