Sooooo, do you know if other schools have been seen wearing headphones during pep rallies?

Have you ever watched ESPN?

Yeah- I've seen other schools do it- but I don't give a damn what other schools let their players do.

Pregame is a different story- listening to music can actually help them relax before going to battle.

But I'm talking about a pep rally- a meet & greet with the fans. You know- the fans. The guys & gals who foot the bill?? Buy the tickets and the merchandise???

It would kind of be nice to see the players give them their full attention- that's all I'm saying.

Don't take my word for it, though. I know some of you are young people. The next time you go in for a job interview- feel free to bring your MP3 player.

I'm confused as to why you're comparing LSU players at a pep rally to a job interview...

It was not a meet and greet with the fans. They herded the teams through like cattle. One literally 2 minutes after the other. I don't think they should have done it to begin with. But it was certainly not a meet and greet

What the hell are you talking about?

You shouldn't feel so entitled.

These are 18-23 year old guys who I hope never look at this situation the way you do.

Sure we should expect them to give their all in games and in practice, but it is not a job for them.

The coaches are getting paid so, yes, they should feel obligated to pay attention to you at a public function.

The players should not be expected to ever think about you buying season tickets and paying TAF dues.

Let Joe Alleva and Les be the ones to worry about your feelings being hurt.

I genuinely hate morons like you that think these kids owe you something. If LSU players get amped by listening to Hitler rally speeches and it makes them want to crush Nazi skulls, so be it. For frick's sake, man, get it together.
