Great dinner spot not far from Vandy: Taco Mamacita (1200 Villa Place, Nashville, TN 37212) They have great margaritas and great tacos!! They kind of put a twist on tacos, they have one called the Memphis - it has brisket, cilantro and some other things; they have a Thai one, it's really neat, I love it! Country Music Hall of Fame - great museum showcasing all things Country Music (https://countrymusichalloffame.com/), check out their site for hours, tours and othe info.

Loveless Cafe is a great breakfest food place, known for their biscuits. They serve breakfast all day but also have some good lunch menu items too. You will want to do this during the week for lunch if you can. Its very popular on the weekends, so if you go on the weekend plan for at least an hour wait, you can sometimes call in and have them put your name on the waiting list about an hour before you get there.
