I just cut my list from 90 to 32. This is pretty tough. Glad I didn't participate in the last one.
ETA: Thanks to Nobes, I just had to add Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Now ordered:
1 Fight Club
2 L.A. Confidential
3 Barton Fink
4 Goodfellas
5 Trainspotting
6 Leon
7 Reservoir Dogs
8 Office Space
9 Bob Roberts
10 The Player
11 Pi
12 The Lion King
13 Blair Witch Project
14 Happy Gilmore
15 The Usual Suspects
16 Scream
17 Being John Malkovich
18 Run Lola Run
19 The Wedding Singer
20 Apollo 13
Imposing my personal rule of only one film per director (cutting the Coens to one was painful). My honorables, also alphabetical:
Affliction, Army of Darkness, Audition, Basketball Diaries, Beautiful Girls, Bringing Out the Dead, Canadian Bacon, Clerks, Dark City, Fargo, Friday, In the Name of the Father, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, Miller’s Crossing, My Blue Heaven, My Own Private Idaho, Pulp Fiction, Romeo + Juliet, Romper Stomper, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Schindler's List, Se7en, Slacker, The Matrix, The Shawshank Redemption, To Die For, Tombstone, Toy Story, Unforgiven, and Waiting for Guffman.
LOT of great movies left off my honorables as well. This was a very hard list to pare down. Tried to throw in some comedies and genre film, art house stuff, and really popular films.

And if there is some kind of voting for MTVBoard thread of the year and that one doesn't win it, I am quitting the internet.

And it was also a great movie. I put that and The Sandlot (which isnt getting any love) because they were my two favorite movies growing up. There were plenty of movies in my honorable mention that had a much better chance at getting a best picture nod, but those have more sentimental value to me.

I am very excite! Oops, wrong decade!
All I know is 5th Element better rank, and 12 Monkeys better place top 15.
That being said what are predictions for most common actor in the non-sucky movies? Director?
How are people tackling list making? What percentage of your list are you devoting to nostalgia and what percent to actually good film?
PS I'd be surprised if Cable Guy ranks, but it is probably one of the most underrated films of the decade!
