with the new setup I would go to the Union and enjoy the three big screens they have.

Not sure why people are being jackasses. A new student wants to know where to watch away games, especially if there is something on campus. An LSU forum seems like the best place to ask about this kind of information.
Haven't lived on campus in nine years, but several dorms have large TVs in the lobby and sometimes lots of guys will all go watch there. Just go to several of the dorms, find the ones with big TVs and there will probably be lots of people there during the game. Probably all day saturday during other games as well.

Yeah most of the dorms do have TVs people watch the games on. And you can even walk over to the ECA or WCA activity center. But the best place, if they're playing it, is at the Union with the big projector screens. And you can get some McNuggets while you're there. Play a little pool at halftime. It's a good deal

For the people that aren't going to Atlanta or Nashville, is there somewhere on campus that everyone goes to watch the games? What goes down?
don't let these choads mess with you, man....there will be plenty of action on and around campus during the away games....just keep your ears open this week and you will have a number of good options...
when I was there, we usually just did some barbecueing and watched the game at somebody's house....

Because it's Tigerdroppings, and people want to try and be the cool guy. The kid is a freshman, lighten up, guys.

If you don't want to go to a bar or restaurant, the Live Oak Lounge in the Union has projectors and somewhat comfortable seating. I'm sure they'll have the game on.

If he's a freshman, he's not old enough to drink anyway

The Union should show it. I live in ECA and a lot of the people over here congregate to a few of the apartments and watch together. There are plenty of places to find on campus to watch the game. I wondered the same thing as a freshman, don't worry.

You are never too young to drink in college.
Also the places like the Chimes, Melo, and Reginelli's are close enough to walk to from campus. There are others also.
Best thing to do is did friends who have an apartment to watch the game. Then you can still get completely wasted like you are suppose to be during a game. If you can get invited to some lady friends' place to watch the game even better.
