My warn crapped out on me and now I'm in the market for a new winch. Don't want to spend the money on another warn, but here is what I'm thinking.
Found the Promark ( Promark / formerly known as Gorilla ) winches and they seem to have the same warranty as the Warn for way cheaper. The reviews from the website seem great, but i think they may be a little biased. Off site reviews are either great or horrible.
So my question, has anyone had any experience with Promark/Gorilla or are there are any other winch recommendations. My winch usage is probably limited to 5-10 times a year max.

No, but I bought one of the first Mile Marker atv winches and they are the best on the market by far. I have had people with Warn, Rule, and Super Winch try to buy it on the spot after pulling someone out or using it. Look into one of those if you want a really good winch.

I have a superwinch i never installed. Might try to sell it soon. I don't know. Getting a bracket put on the bike is what's holding me up.

I've heard good things about Viper inches too. Good price on those. If you want real reviews from people that use them all the time head over to the highlifter forum and ask those guys.

I can tell you without a doubt that vipers customer service is second to none. I would buy another for that alone. The people are a pleasure to deal with.

I bought a Ramsey 2500 ATV winch for my Honda. It has a wireless remote and a bike mounted toggle switch. By tying the bike off to a tree and using the remote I can raise treestands or pull a deer up a hill with ease and not have to be on the bike. I've been very pleased.
