Going to be an Iron Chef Challenge with Alton Brown and I guess the chefs. I saw Cat Cora on the trailer for it.

Very much so looking forward to it! Other than Aaria, I like everyone that's left... would be happy if any of them won.

I initially picked Brad, but he really never panned out. I think I am pulling for Tom. As for Aarti?

I'm pulling for Arti- I think her concept is by far the most interesting and unique for FN. The judges have been down on her the last couple of weeks. Hope she doesn't crash and burn.

BTW-I'm taping it, so please no spoilers tonight. TIA.

Arti is a producers dream. She is non-offensive to any group and casts a wide net for demographics. She has the pleasant accent along with a wholesome personality. She is slightly overweight so viewers don't think she's just a hot bimbo. She has the potential to endorse all kinds of products and make Food Network TONS of money.

If you don't want spoilers, how about not opening a thread about it?

Aarsti fartsy is in realty a nightmare for Food Network. They've had several "wholesome" "nice" "demographically friendly" contestants. All have been a huge failure for the network. This whole concept of Aarti's Party is terrible.

Unfortunately it appears Tom has the inside track.

I'd prefer to have them call it a bust and start over again.

Have any of the winners really knocked it out of the park? Guy Fieri seems to have made more of a name for himself with Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives as opposed to his own Guy's Big Bite. I didn't like the first winners, the two caterers form Chicago. I think the second winner quit after one season. Big Daddy is okay, but I rarely watch. So overall the Food Network is not exactly making stars.

i agree...i can't stand fieri on "big bite", but i think he does a pretty good job on DDD, because it's featuring other people, and i like seeing places that i might want to try out when i travel. i don't watch a great deal of the other programs that feature former contestants, but i feel that melissa d'arabian is just a total cluster-f*&k.

Why do they even cook?

THere is as much cooking on Food Network as there are videos on MTV.

I hope Arti wins because I love Indian food and would love to see some of her recipes on a show.

She wowed the Iron Chefs. I want to cook what she cooks

Toms got the best personality / feel for the camera imho. I would actually watch his show, which at the end of the day is the most important aspect of this show.

Artie seems like a train wreck as far as engaging with the camera, as does herb most of the time.

Huh? There is a ton of cooking on Food Network. This isnt Top Chef where they litereally stopped showing them cooking in favor of more Broth and Oven ads.

I think Aarti is the best chef, so far. She did a fine job with the food, last night. However, I find her voice annoying and somewhat whiny. I don't care for her persona much and probably wouldn't watch her very often.

I like Tom's and Herb's personalities better, but what was Tom thinking with the bacon steak?

I was a Brad fan in terms of personality.
