Fun Section Reviews Yet Another Chain, but....

This is one chain I really enjoy.
Pie Works on Sherwood Forest.
I've eaten there several times since it opened and it is my go-to for pizza in the city. Toppings are super fresh, a small pie is filling for one person, and the combination of ingreients and sauces is vast.
Best pizza in town, IMHO
Anyone else been?

Perfect for my liking. Thin, but not too thin, and light with a little bit of crunch.
They make two from scratch daily: regular white and a dark, whole wheat. The dark whole wheat is nutty and really good as well.

Ate there last night. All our selections were very good. Great mix of seasonings, and we had both types of crust. I had the dark wheat, and it was very good. Enjoyable for kids as well. There are several choices kids would like.
The owner came out and talked with us, and he also helped move a couple of tables himself for a large family. I highly recommend them.

Had lunch there the other day. Not a bad place. Had mozzarella, parmisan and tomato pizza. Pretty good.
They are taking over the once a month pizza sale at my daughters school from Papa Johns. A huge improvement. I might even stop in for lunch now.

I went about a month or so ago, and had a shrimp pizza which wasn't bad at all. Full of flavor but swimming in olive oil. I'd reccomend for a chain, even though it does grieve me to do so. Sooooo sad, but yeah, it seems as if they care about what their are doing, for now.

They were supposed to open another on on Jefferson in the old Scholotsky's(sp?), but that building has a for sale sign on it now so I guess that is off.

That sounds good. I'll have to try this place.
