So I guess you are assuming Emeka gets dumped then?

Looks like he is taking it in the arse in that second pick.

Iggy or Deng by trade.
Gasol or Oden through FA.
And before everybody jumps me for suggesting Oden might hit free agency, Portland is already paying 2 young guys max money. They can afford to pay Oden, but it locks them into those three with little flexibility for a long time. If he doesn't stay healthy this whole season, there is a good chance Portland doesn't offer what he wants.

Hopefully we'd get someone other than Oden. He has the knees of an 80 year old

However he makes up for that with other parts of his body...
We should go after or Marc Gasol...Or Glen Davis when his contract expires

Big Baby's contract expires at the end of this season as of now.

God I would love it if Big Baby came home.

1. Melo
Others in no particular order
Tayshaun Prince
Joel Przybilla
Adrie Kirilenko
Zach Randolph
Troy Murphy
Tyson Chandler
Caron Butler
Yao Ming
Josh Howard
Kenyon Martin
Big Baby
Lineup
1.CP3/Collinson
2.Thornton/Pondexter
3.Melo/James Posey
4.West/Brackins
5.Okafor/Gray
West can opt out and we could possibly move Okafor and Posey to free up more room to upgrade in those spots a little. This would be a sick squad though!!!!

That would be a sick team. That's a nice list you've compiled there as well. I wonder if they'd be interested in chandler after shipping him out. Personally I'd rather he didn't come back unless his back stops spasming every year

I could see bringing Chandler back IF he was significantly cheaper.
Paying for about 40 games a year of production isn't bad if his base salary is closer to $4 million a season than $10-12 million.

You really want Kenyon Martin, Troy Murphy, Howard, or Martin? I don't want any part of those players unless they come with a time machine.

I agree totes, but he was probably just throwing guys out there that would be relatively easy to snag. Doesn't really mean anybody would want the,

Its gonna be tough to get anyone we really want...
Melo would be ideal, but that seems more like a pipe dream.
I'd love to see Danny Granger come home to NO, but I don't see Indiana parting with him.
Marc Gasol would be next on my list. If we find a way to get rid of Emeka we have a shot at getting him, but would most likely have to overpay.
May be a bit of homerism, but I'd love to see Tyrus play for the Hornets. Him and Paul running the pick and roll would be money.
Caron Butler would be a great fit too.
